About Us

Neways at Home is a family run home care and live-in care services based in Weymouth. We are supported by an experienced team of professionals who runs care homes (e.g. Chestnuts Care Home, Weymouth) and other home care locations in UK. Our mission is to provide outstanding care to the elderly people and empower them to live independently in their own homes. We are a growing company looking to develop the more services in Weymouth and Dorchester areas.

Role summary

We seek a Home Care Coordinator who thrives in a dynamic, professional environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality care at home. You will work closely with our Registered Manager and fellow Care team to support clients in their homes. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Key responsibilities

(We encourage applicants without all experience but with a willingness to learn. Full training will be provided.)

  • Process (Accepting and allocating) referrals for new care packages.
  • Organize and conduct client assessments.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing care plans.
  • Create rotas for care workers based on client needs.
  • Conduct care visits and cover on-call responsibilities as and when needed, to be flexible and cover annual leave and sickness.
  • Collaborate with careers, professionals, and families to ensure quality care.
  • Perform customer visits and quality audits regularly.
  • Monitor service quality through electronic records and KPI reports.
  • Participate in key meetings including staff supervision, family review meetings, etc.
  • Uphold high service standards and assist in the quality monitoring processes, assist in maintaining health and safety, records, and risk assessments.
  • Support the induction and training of new staff.
  • Serve as a role model for junior staff.
  • Investigate minor complaints as needed.
  • Participate in recruitment processes.
Key requirements
  • Must have home care experience.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Strong communication skills (listening, verbal, written).
  • Team player with excellent customer service skills.
  • NVQ 3/5 qualification is desirable, but not essential.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Compassionate and caring attitude towards clients.
Pay
  • Full-time: £27,040-£29,120/yr
  • Part-time: £14-£16/hr
